5 Anti-Spy Apps for Android Helping You Keep Your Privacy

best anti spy apps for Android

In this age of technology, nothing is safe from the prying eyes of hackers and spies. Thankfully, there are some anti-spy apps for Android that can stand between the hackers and your data. One of the most common mistakes a person makes is that they think that they were actively attacked by a single individual. However, these days’ cyber spies devise malware that performs the job for them.

Malware can crawl into your device by any means and start logging everything you do. Their nature can range from being highly disruptive to a simple key logger, but nonetheless, they are there to spy on you. Some of the companies used spying apps before but thankfully the world has matured enough to call them out. A recent example is the Windows 10 sharing policies that were exposed by the Internet in a matter of hours.

These anti spy apps for Android may not seem like dedicated anti-spy apps but, in reality, work extremely efficiently. Another point to be noted here is that when you install an antispy app on Android, make sure it is from a well-reputed company. A lot of malware are hidden among fake antivirus apps for Android and you don’t want to get measles from the doctor.

Note: The best anti spy apps for Android were tested on a Sony Xperia Z smartphone. The apps performed fine and were able to catch a minor spyware I deliberately placed on my smartphone. Although the spyware was a bit older, I believe these apps will perform just fine in normal day-to-day usage. Some of the apps will require an active Internet connection to get updates, which in this case are mandatory to stay protected.

    Dr.Web Security Space

If you are looking to root out malware as well as spyware from your Android device, then this app just might be your cup of tea. However, before we embark I have to warn you that this is a 14 days trial and after that you have to purchase a license and that is an expensive one. So it is highly recommended that you check the app out fully before committing to it.

In the limited time I tested it, the app performed exceptionally fine and found the spyware I placed on my device easily. As a matter of fact this is one of the fastest apps on this list. However, as it is a highly expensive app I felt like placing it at the end of the list because not a lot of people are fond of paying an exuberant amount of money for a mobile app. If you’re afraid of malwares, this is one of the best anti-malware apps for Android.

Conclusion

These are some superb antispy apps for Android. These apps are designed to catch any kind of oddity on your Android device and they work really well. Most of them are free and provide a quality service so you will be kept safe and very little cost. However, I have to warn you about installing multiple antispy apps on Android because they don’t sit well with each other. While it may seem logical to have two guards stationed outside your door, this logic doesn’t translate well when the guards themselves are going to fight with each other.

If you have any kind of questions or suggestions about these apps, feel free to comment in the section below.

Sorry; But you have completely missed the point.

These apps are Anti Virus apps – and NOT Anti Spy apps!

Normally such apps are incapable of detecting real spy apps.

You should instead have a look at the ANTI SPY apps for Android.

There are a few good ones.

      Hi Terry,
True, they are anti-virus apps but in the article, it also says that they have a feature where they protect your from spyware and usually steals your information. So, they too can be considered anti-spy apps thanks to that feature. Thanks for commenting. =-)
