Even though Android tablets are not as popular as they used to be, they should still be protected from evil viruses. Thankfully, the best antivirus apps for Android tablets are there to save the day. In this day and age, it is always better to be sure and secure than simply rely on Android’s ability to fend off against viruses.

A little while back, and the security was strong enough to withstand malicious attacks. However, that’s not the case in today’s world. So, it is quite necessary to at least have one great Android Antivirus app installed, so you have peace of mind. Even though viruses are not as prevalent on the Android platform as they are on Windows, is still a good practice to have a trusty antivirus on guard duty.

AVG Antivirus is one of the oldest antivirus software ever, my dad has been using it for over a decade on PC and he has no problems with viruses whatsoever. So naturally, I was really excited to test this antivirus app for Android tablets, especially since it’s been so long I tested it for another article.

Thankfully, AVG Antivirus is still stellar, performs really well, and has an updated antivirus database that allows it to catch slightly older viruses in mere seconds.
