I’ll a very spotty Internet provider and there are times when I’m out of an Internet connection for a full week until they repair it. So naturally, most of these games always reside on my Android devices. This allows me to enjoy great video games without any sort of Internet connection.
Sure, I can connect to 4G and play some games that require an Internet connection, but I would rather save mobile data than squander it on a videogame. I know for a fact that a lot of people also don’t want to use their mobile data for gaming. This is why this list includes a lot of different offline games for Android so that you can find the one that suits your taste.
Note: The 10 best offline games for Android were tested on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone. All of the games worked perfectly fine and there were no problems faced during testing. A point to be noted here is that some of the games may require additional downloads after you have installed them.
So I highly recommend that you at least run the games once with an Internet connection. After that, you will be good to go. Due to their diverse nature, the games are not in any particular order.

Limbo is one of the best games to come out in recent times and it is only a 2-D platformer. This game is a fine example of how a well-designed look and environmental can grab the attention of the players. Lay beautiful black and white aesthetic of the game allows the players to feel engrossed in the game.
While the gameplay is kept quite simple, the brutal execution animations, as well as stunning environments, make this game a pleasure to play through. I first played the game when it was released on PC a while back and really enjoyed what it had to offer. This is one of the best examples of how a beautifully crafted aesthetic can make a video game appealing.Show Downloads
You may have guessed from the name that the game will be about smashing stuff, and it is true. Smash Hit is an endless runner without the runner and it is amazing. Basically, you need to tap on the screen to throw balls and break fragile pyramids.
This may seem like an on premise but once you have played the game you’ll understand it completely. The graphics are beautiful in the game runs wonderfully on almost any relatively modern smartphone. I really enjoyed how the first-person view of the game allows you to truly gauge the distance. The smashing animation is also quite satisfactory.Show Downloads

Shadow Fight 2
Want to have a go at someone but fear the consequences? Well, now you can punch or kick anyone without a warrant about pesky cops and lawsuits. Shadow Fight 2 allows you to punch your way through a solidly built single player story mode. While it is an arcade brawler, it does feature some great animations and very substantial weapon upgrades.
Each weapon you arm your fighter with will change the way the fight drastically. I had a lot of fun playing this game in offline mode and made my way through half of the campaign. The only problem is, you need coins to play and they generate over time. This means that you have to wait a certain amount of time before the game is ready for you to play.Show Downloads
You are sitting on your chair sipping moonshine and listening to some music and suddenly filthy gators attack your shack. This is quite unacceptable, you cannot let those reptilian idiots munch you to pieces! So, you load up your shotgun or whatever weapon you have on your hand and start shooting.
This is a very relaxing game that allows you to kill wildlife while slowly cradling in your rocking chair. The gameplay is kept minimal, you tap on the crocs/gators to kill them. Sometimes they come in waves and you need to deploy different tactics, but overall the gameplay is kept simple.Show Downloads
