How to Download Samsung Galaxy S6 Stock Fonts for Any Phone

Fonts can be a form of art. On the S6 you can be bold; you can be Cool Jazz, but you don’t ever have to be regular unless you just want to be. What if you don’t have a Samsung Galaxy S6? That doesn’t matter, as we are about to demonstrate.

You can have the fonts on the S6. You can have quite a few more fonts if you’d like. If you are seeking a particular style, we can show you where to get it. You can make any mundane word look majestic with the right font.

Method 1: Lots ‘O Fonts Via Zip File (For Rooted Devices with Custom Recovery)

It is highly recommended that you perform a full backup just in case something does not go as planned. As with any time you flash, ensure that you have adequate battery—70% or more. The flashable version should clean the existing APK files so that they do not cause any problems in the future.

If you’re an S6 purist seeking only those fonts present on the phone out-of-the-box, this may not be the method for you. However, if the possibility of having those fonts and many, many, more interests you, look no further. Rather than having to painstakingly install files one by one, a developer at XDA has been able to fit 1060 fonts in one flashable file.

If you do not have root, and don’t want root, go to Method 2 below. This method seems to work on all Samsung ROMs 5.0.2 and above.

Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources

From Security in the Settings menu, enable Unknown Sources so you download and install apps outside of those in the Google-Play store.

Some folders will also contain lib folders. If this is the case, set the permissions to rwxr-xr-x

Step 4: Arm Folders

If said lib folder contains an arm folder, long-press on it and change permissions to rwxr-xr-x

Step 5: Sub Lib Files

Finally, if the above arm folder contains sub lib files, change them to rw-r–r– individually.

Step 6: Reboot
