4 Ways to Earn Money with Your Smartphone in 2022

Wouldn’t it be great to put all that time spent on our phones and all that scrolling to good use and earn some extra money from it?

With the digital world having more and more influence on our lives, earning money on your Android device isn’t all that difficult.

Let’s take a look at the 4 easiest ways to earn money with your smartphone.

  1. Fill Out Surveys
  2. Passive Income Apps
  3. Walk to Earn
  4. Side Gig Apps

1. Fill out Surveys

One of the easiest ways to earn money with your smartphone is to fill out surveys.

It doesn’t sound that exciting, I agree, but if you’re stuck on a commute or in a queue in a store or, let’s be honest, on a toilet, why not use all that time to earn some money?

The surveys are usually product and user testing related, and once you fill out a survey, you get a certain amount of points. Later, you can exchange those points for PayPal cash or discounts.

What you need to be aware of is that there are a lot of scammer apps, so be careful which ones you choose.

The ones I can recommend for US citizens are Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.

Sadly, they’re only accepting users from the US right now, so if you’re from a different part of the world, you might want to look for an alternative, like ySense for Europe or Survey Savvy for Asia.

2. Passive Income Apps

Use passive income apps like Honeygain

I think we can all agree that there’s nothing better than passive income – you earn money while you do nothing.

And for this, there are numerous passive income apps you can use to boost your earnings.

However, I have to stress that, no matter which passive income app you choose, it won’t make you the next Jeff Bezos.

a) Plynk

Plynk is an investment app that you can start using for free.

The app offers stocks, crypto, and ETFs that you can trade with and all starting at only $1.

What’s even better is that Plynk gives you how-to guides for investment explained in the simplest language understandable to everyone.

b) Fundrise

Similar to Plynk where you invest in stocks and crypto, Fundrise is also an investment app but you instead invest in real estate.

You don’t even need to be a credited investor to start investing, and you can start your journey for as little as $10.

3. Walk to Earn

Use walk to earn apps

Sadly, most of us lead pretty sedentary lives and it either already is or it will start taking a toll on our health.

But what if I told you that you can actually get paid to walk? Would you get up and try to squeeze in those 10k steps a day?

If so, then apps like Sweatcoin that pay you for walking are just what you need as they can improve both your health and your wallet situation.

Sweatcoin is a free app with over 120 million users that gives you “sweatcoins” for your step count. Once you collect a certain amount of these coins, you can exchange them for discounts on different classes and products, or you can donate to charity.

The app will give you some tiny daily tasks and incentives for extra coins like “walk 2200 steps in 20 minutes to earn 5 sweatcoins”. As a reference, you normally earn 1 sweatcoin per 1000 steps.

Note, however, that the app tracks only your outdoor steps, so there’s no doing chores indoors and tricking the app that you have exercised.

Now, I have to say this again, Sweatcoin won’t make you rich and you won’t earn hundreds of dollars per day, but if you’re already doing something good for yourself and for the planet, those extra $$ can only be another plus, no matter how little that might be.

4. Side Gig Apps

Use side gig apps

Earning money while you get to choose your own hours and be your own boss is a nonpareil way of earning!

With side gig Android apps, it’s more than possible. And not only that, but with the variety of apps, you’ll get to choose what exactly it is that you want to do and which microtasks you want to accomplish in order to earn.

A) Food delivery

Some of the most popular side gig apps are all based around food delivery – Doordash, Uber Eats, Instacart.

They all pay approximately between $15 and $25 per hour and you get to choose the delivery gig you want to work.

Again, these services are located in the US, but food delivery services are highly popular worldwide, so you can find one no matter where you live.

B) Steady and TaskRabbit

Steady and TaskRabbit are apps that connect people who need a job done with freelancers in their vicinity.

You simply register, enter your zip code and search for simple tasks someone might need a hand with.

These can be cleaning, assembling furniture, yard work, etc. But you can also find some work-from home-jobs on Steady, which is even better.

Let’s Wrap Up

We already spend a good amount of time on our phones, so why not use that time smartly and earn some extra money?

You can even combine some of these methods, like food delivery and Sweatcoin to earn even more money.
