So let’s see what you can do to stop those pesky spam text messages from ruining your day!

Method 1: How to Block Texts on Samsung Galaxy with Phone Settings

To block text messages through your phone’s settings you have 3 options. Let’s see what they are:

1. Block the Number

In order to stop getting text messages from a certain number, all you have to do is block the number. However, this way you won’t get any kind of notification from this number. Here’s how:

Open the contact you want to want to block, open the menu and tap on Add to reject list. And that’s it! No more notifications from blacklisted numbers!

The other way you can block text messages is to open the message that is bothering you, open the menu and select Add to Spam numbers. The effect is the same as with the blocking, the difference is that the number will not know that you’ve blacklisted them, you just won’t receive any notifications.

3. Auto-Reject List

You can easily directly blacklist numbers so that they will have no option of contacting you while they’re on the list. All you have to do is go to Settingsthen Call Settingstap Call Rejection, and then add or remove the numbers you want to block to the list.
