Video cropping on Android

Be it your homemade recipe video, a light moment with your better half, or an old memory of your granny 一 you do not want to mess with these videos–you want to keep them at their best.

Do you ever feel bad about a great video with an unwanted or distracting object, or an unwelcome person, and desperately wish you could remove them? Or do you just want to change the focus of your video without reshooting it?

You should try cropping your video. Besides the aforementioned uses, you can also adjust the video size to fit in an area. Video cropping is an editing technique which allows you to choose what part of a video frame you want to be visible.

Note that cropping a video is not the same as trimming or zooming it. While trimming a video is about eliminating a part of the video, cropping refers to removing the distracting elements in it by reducing the size or dimensions of it.

In this article, I’ll school you on how to crop a video on Android devices. So without any delay, let’s get started.

2. Use a third-party app

Are you a hardcore Instagrammer looking for a tool to beautify your videos? Well, there are hundreds of editing apps available for you to do the same.

Third-party applications on the Play Store offer a wide variety of cool features to take your video editing game to a whole new level. These apps help you crop, trim, blur, and enhance your videos.

Since the social media trends are changing day in and day out with the use of Reels, IG stories, challenges, and whatnot, staying on trend can be quite challenging without the use of the top editing tools. Let’s crop a video on the Video Crop & Trim app by ZipoApps.

3. Use an online video editor

Another simple way to crop a video is by using an online video editor. If you are concerned about the space or running out of it, (FREE IT UP first) you should consider using an online video editor tool to crop your video.

It is much simpler than using a third-party app without bothering your phone’s storage. I have been using ezgif for the same as it makes video cropping seamless. Don’t go by its name: it may sound as “easy GIF” but it offers amazing features for playing around with videos as well. Follow these steps to crop a video on ezgif:

Step 1: Go to https://ezgif.com/crop-video
