We’ll start with Google Chrome as this is not only one of the most downloaded web browsers on the Google Play store, but it is also featured as a default browser on several new Android devices.
Open the Google Chrome app, tap on the Menu button in the top right corner and select Settings.
Tap on the Privacy button.
Press the CLEAR BROWSING DATA button at the bottom. A popup should now appear with different options to clear.
To clear browsing history, make sure that the Clear browsing history option is checked. You can also clear cache, cookies & site data, autofill data and saved passwords. Tap on the Clear button after selecting your desired options. That’s it!
Mozilla Firefox is another browser that is not only used by PC users, but it’s also quite popular on the Google Play store.
Open Firefox, tap on the Menu button in the top right corner and click on Settings.
Scroll down to the Privacy & Security tab and tap on Clear private data.
Like Chrome, a popup will now appear with various options to clear. Select the option by ticking the check box next to each option and tap on the Clear data button.
Opera Mini is one of the fastest browsers currently available and is not only used by Android users, but it is also popular on PCs and the iOS.
Open Opera Mini, tap on the Opera button in the bottom right hand corner and select History.
Tap on the Clear All button.
A Clear History popup should now appear asking you to confirm. Tap on the Yes button. This will only clear the basic browsing history on your browser.
For deleting other history options, such as cache and passwords, tap on the Opera icon from the main screen and select Settings.
Tap on the Privacy option.
You will be presented with various options, such as Clear history and Clean passwords. Tap on the X or Cross next to each option for clearing that particular thing. That’s it!
This is the default browser available on older Android devices, running Android 4.0 or lower. This might be available by the name of Browser or Internet depending on your Android device.
Open the browser, tap on the Menu button and click on Settings.
Tap on Privacy & security.
Tap on Clear history and click on OK in the confirmatory popup. You can do the same for clearing cache, cookies and data.
While Google Search is not a browser, it is certainly an app that people use to search for various things on the internet and you might want to delete the terms searched.
Open Google Search and tap on the search text bar. A list of all your search terms should now appear as suggestions.
Hold on the search term that you want to delete until you see a Remove from search history popup. Tap on Yes. You can do this for all the terms that you wish to delete.
Method 2: History Eraser – Cleaner

Open the app and navigate to your desired tab. There are tabs for History, Call Log, Others and SMS/MMS.
Under each tab, select your desired option by ticking the check box next to the option. For instance, if you want to delete your browser history, tick on the check box next to Browser, under the HISTORY tab.
Tap on the Clean button after selecting your desired options.

Tap on the Broom or Clean button after selecting your desired options. That’s it! You have successfully cleared the history on your Android device.
