How to Return Your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 before the Battery Goes Boom
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is being recalled because of a battery fault. While it’s unfortunate, it is very important that you return yours as soon as possible. This guide will help you through the process of returning the smartphone back to your carrier and getting a possible exchanged smartphone.
We have searched the carrier sites and talk to their customer service to get the latest information on how you can easily return your Galaxy Note 7. We’ll talk about the US carrier’s first because they are the easiest to contact and then will move on to other vendors. So let’s get to it so you can return your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 before the battery explodes.
Return Galaxy Note 7 to AT&T
AT&T took a little while to come up with a process of returning the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but it’s a solid one. All you need to do is take your Note 7 to the store and they’ll let you choose any smartphone you want. Another great thing is that they’ll let you select the latest Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge or even S7 Active by giving you a $25 bill credit.
Are you worried about any of the Note 7 accessories you bought with the smartphone?
Those are also returnable with too.
What if I still want Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from AT&T?
AT&T is providing a great service by allowing you to return the exchange device and get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it becomes available. I have to admit, this is a great deal.
Return Galaxy Note 7 to Verizon
Verizon has stopped selling the smartphone and is waiting for Samsung to come up with the exchange plan. But you need not worry, you can simply go to their store and get your already purchased Galaxy Note 7 exchanged. However, a point to be Noted here (pun intended), is that the service is only running until September 30, it’s a good thing is it’s a whole month. Verizon is also allowing users to exchange the smartphone for another phone or simply get the money back. They are also dropping the restocking fee for those who tend the smartphone back.

What if I still want Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from Verizon?
Verizon has been quiet on whether you will be able to exchange the smartphone for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it becomes restocked. I will update this article when things become a bit clearer.
Return Galaxy Note 7 to Sprint
You can start the exchange process by simply visiting the physical store or even calling 1-800-SPRINT1. I highly recommend visiting the physical store to return the smartphone as it is much more convenient than involving a phone call. Sprint is allowing you to downgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and they are also going to refund you the price difference. You can also easily give back the accessories you bought with the smartphone. A point to be Noted here is that you can also purchase any other phone that is less expensive than the Note 7 (almost every phone is priced less than this one).

What if I still want Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from Sprint?
If you can wait a while, Sprint will allow you to simply do a straight slap for the new device when they become stocked. However, I highly recommend not doing so because there is a high chance of the battery being exploded. And I’m pretty sure you don’t want to do that.
Return Galaxy Note 7 to T-Mobile
Just like Verizon, T-Mobile is also letting its customers return the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 by 30th September. You can do that either by going to the store or initiating the process by calling 1-800-937 -8997. You can return the phone for a complete refund and get your cash back or you can use that money for a different device. Just like almost any other carrier, you can also return all the accessories you bought with the smartphone. Another great point to be Noted here is that if you preordered the Samsung Galaxy S7 and received different goodies like the free SD card or a Netflix subscription, you get to keep them even if you return the phone.

Return Galaxy Note 7 to Amazon
I reached out to Amazon regarding this issue but was unable to get a statement from them. The whole process is not clear yet and it may take a while for things to settle down. I will update this article wants Amazon has released the proper statement about the return of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to Amazon.
While this whole exploding battery issue is a big botch on an almost clean slate of Samsung’s, the flagship phablet still remains one of the best smartphones around. What about Sam’s Club. We purchased 2 Note 7 and a $150.00 gift card for each phone.
Also we want to get the GOOD Note 7s when then come out.
All advice appreciated.
Sam’s Club has 3 easy ways to return purchases and you can choose the method that easiest for you in the link below. Hope it helps.
Took my Note 7 to nearest Verizon Wireless store. They would not take it without the box and all chargers, adapters and headphones that came with it. They are treating it like a return not a recall. I do not have charger since I do not use it I charge wirelessly. I threw out the cheap headphones.
Well, that’s not right. They sold you a faulty phone and they should take it back no matter what you returned it with. Like you mentioned, it’s a recall not a return. I wouldn’t give up and I would ask to speak to a manager and demand a new phone. Call customer service and complain. Have you tried going to another store?
