3 ways to transfer files from Nook app to SD card

Method 1: Transfer Nook files using PC

Follow the below steps to transfer Nook files to SD card using PC.

Step 1: 

Install the Nook application on your PC

Step 2:

Sign in to your Nook account

Step 3:

From your Nook account, download the ebook you would like to transfer to the SD card. The book will be stored in the Downloads folder of your PC.

Step 4:

Once you complete the download, Nook will store the book in Nook memory. Archive the download to remove it from the Nook memory. You can still access the downloads from the cloud to read later. 

Step 5: 

Now, connect your Nook device to the PC using a USB cable

Step 6: 

Open the documents folder on your PC where the downloaded ebook is stored

Step 7:

Now, open This PC and select the Nook folder

Step 8:

Open the SD card folder in the Nook drive window

Step 9:

At this point, copy the downloaded ebook you would like to transfer to the SD card from the documents folder

Step 10:

Paste the ebook in the SD card folder in the Nook drive window

Finally, safely eject Nook from the PC by clicking on the ‘Safely remove hardware’ option

Another simple method to transfer files from Nook to SD card is by changing the default storage option on your Nook device. Here’s how to do it.

On your Nook device, tap the Quick settings icon

Step 2:

Select All settings from the available options

Step 3:

Now, select Storage management 

Note: Make sure your SD card is formatted to your Nook device 

Step 4:

Finally. Choose SD card from the available storage options to automatically store files to your Sd card instead of the Nook memory

That’s all! To change your storage option back to Nook memory, follow the same procedure and choose Nook memory in the Storage management option. 

Method 3: Directly transfer Nook files to SD card

Step 1:

Insert a microSD card or microSDHC card into your Nook device
