  1. Thanks for the article Amy. I have been using DuckDuckGo and Cake because neither allows tracking and they are much lighter than Chrome. Hope you try them.

  2. Chrome, Firefox and Dolphin browser are definitely not light. Did you even try and analyze their resource usage? did you just list the first 10 apps shown on “browser” search?

  3. So why use a light-weight browser…I’m having trouble finding out why not use Google…I had “Obama Phones” in which are usually entry-level and had no problem with Google. Do explain

    1. The most common reason why some would use a lightweight browser is to prevent their phones from crashing while browsing for long periods of time. This is due to the limited capacity of their phone’s storage and RAM. The lower they are the more limited the phone is.

  4. On ZTE Max used google chrome also tried Firefox Phonix Dolphin Puffer and other zoo animals. Was never a storage issue, just something different. Stumbled across Mint browser And downloader. extremely light weight, options abundant and Awesome Fast downloader. Mint browser,”Bagged, Stuffed and hung the animals on the wall.
