Xiaomi 11T Pro: Lightning-speed charging support, Snapdragon 888 SoC, affordable price, and more
On Wednesday, during a virtual event, Xiaomi announced its latest mid-range series of smartphones. This lineup is designed to succeed the Mi 10T and for the first time, dropping off the Mi branding.
Xiaomi introduced three handsets at the event: the 11T Lite 6G, 11T, and 11T Pro.
The Chinese tech company is targeting buyers who are conscious of the price tag but still want the best specs there are. Now, this series of smartphones just delivers.
Some of the notable specs include lightning-speed charging capability, a powerful chipset, and other high-end specs all wrapped into an affordable price tag.

Xiaomi launches its newest Xiaomi 11T Pro series
The new 11T series consist of the following handsets: Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi 11T, and Xiaomi 11T Pro. These new phones are upgrades from last year’s Mi 10T series of phones.
Another surprising thing about this series is that Xiaomi has dropped off the Mi branding for this and for all future products within the company’s core smartphone portfolio.

Xiaomi 11T Pro
At the top of the lineup is the 11T Pro that sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED TrueColor display with a 120Hz AdaptiveSync technology. Also, it features a 480Hz touch sampling rate as well as a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection for that tough screen.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset with vapor chamber cooling technology. It features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Now, the back of the Xiaomi 11T Pro has a triple-camera setup that comprises a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel 2x telemacro lens. Get this, the smartphone also supports both HDR10+ and 8K video recording.

But the best feature of all? The Xiaomi 11T Pro supports 120W HyperCharge technology that lets users charge their smartphones at a lightning speed.
Users can go from a dead battery to fully charged in just 17 minutes even with a large 5,000mAh dual-cell battery. The company also claims that 80% battery health is maintained even after 800 cycles.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6 support, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi 11T
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 11T is powered by MediaTek’s 6nm Dimensity 1200 chipset, combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
While the rest of its specs are similar to that of the 11T Pro, it differs from the charging-speed ability. The 11T only supports 67W charging speeds.
In addition to that, the 11T are available in three colors: Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue.
Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G NE
Lastly is the Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G NE is almost identical to the Mi 11 Lite 5G that the Chinese tech has launched earlier this year. But instead of a Snapdragon 780G chipset, rather, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset.
The 11T Lite 5G NE will be available in cute and fun colors which includes a Snowflake White color that bears a resemblance to “a matte frosted glass surface flecked with shimmering snowflakes that glimmer at an angle.”
Other colors are Peach Pink, Bubblegum Blue, and Truffle Black.
High-specs flagship phones without breaking the bank
All three smartphones will be shipped with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
Xiaomi also confirmed that the 11T series phones will get three major Android OS updates and assured four years of security updates.
