Samsung Pay Compatibility: List of All Compatible Phones

Go shopping without bringing your wallet or card. Pay through your smartphone using Samsung Pay. However, while it is accepted in many places and stores, it only works on a few Samsung Pay compatible phones.

With Samsung Pay, you can add your debit and credit cards, as well as your gift and membership cards, to your smartphone. Designed for smart and easy payment, it works anywhere that accepts card payment. It’s just like paying using your card, but better, safer and more convenient. Think of it as a digital wallet.

It is packed with layers of security features too, so no need to worry about your card account getting compromised. In fact, it’s safer than using your actual card. In Samsung Pay, the actual account number of your card does not appear. Plus, you can secure it with your fingerprint to ensure that no other person can use your phone for payment.

The only downside of Samsung Pay is that it only works exclusively on Samsung devices. If you’re curious, here’s the complete list of all Samsung devices that supports Samsung Pay.

  1. i have a samsung S9 and i have tried downloading the app but it does not work. The message i get is that my phone does not support the app. So why this confusion?

    1. The app will only work in the market where you bought the phone from. So if it was manufactured to be sold in South America but you bought it from the Miami store, you will not be able to use it in the US. And to be honest probably neither in South America. Now with the coronavirus I hope they stop playing games with customers. People actually need this thing

  2. I have a samsung A10 and there’s no mention of this phone anywhere though it’s a smartphone and almost up to a10 standard. Only just got it. Can. I use samsung pay or do I just stick with google pay.
